We have always had sporting dogs, labs, Brittany’s and Pointers. There is something so magical , addicting about watching a working dog work. Words don't do justice to standing in a field, and sending out a dog to retrieve, oftentimes with one word, or a hand signal. That feeling as they speed off , the energy they release, the enthusiasm they send. I can still think about those precious times and feel a lump in my throat, and tears filling my eyes as I type our story.
My Training Started Here
Working with those magnificent breeds, I learned so much about teaching dogs, working with them, and how to care for them. I learned how to talk to, connect with, and establish a bond with a canine companion. Little did I know, It would later become the foundation of my mini goldendoodle puppy program - Cedar Doodles.
He's Allergic To Dogs...
Not long after the birth of my youngest, I started to notice that it seemed like there was purple under his eyes. Purple that started, and sneezing that followed. I think deep down I knew, but I couldn't imagine my life without a dog, let alone my kids lives without a dog. Dogs to me, complete a family. My worst fears were confirmed when I went to a doctors appointment to address my concerns, and the doctor validated my fears- " Your Son is allergic to dogs"
Real Heartache
I can feel the tears streaming down my face as I think about the heart-wrenching pain of rehoming my beloved dogs. I’ve never wept so deeply. I had no idea it was even possible to love a dog the way I loved my sporting dog. A piece of my heart will forever belong to that majestic, floppy-eared pointer, whose heart was as vast and beautiful as the world itself—a true old soul who touched my life in a way I’ll never forget.

What's A Goldendoodle?
In the midst of my tears, I remembered my dear friend mentioning a "Goldendoodle puppy," saying it was supposed to be an incredible dog for people with allergies. Without hesitation, I knew we had to have one!
Our family just wasn’t complete without a dog, so we took the leap and brought home our first "Goldendoodle puppy". Just like that, my baby’s allergy symptoms disappeared, and we knew we had discovered something life-changing. That little "Goldendoodle puppy" became more than just a pet—she was our forever dog, filling our hearts and home in ways we never imagined.

Improving The Breed
We were completely smitten with our **mini Goldendoodle puppy**—she was the perfect fit, and we instantly fell in love. It didn’t take long to realize we weren’t alone—others adored her too! But we also discovered that there was so much about **mini Goldendoodles** and **mini Goldendoodle puppies** that wasn’t widely known. We saw a huge opportunity to improve the breed, especially when it came to raising and training **mini Goldendoodle puppies**. Most importantly, we knew the key to success was improving **Goldendoodle genetics**!
With my background in biology, applied science, registered nursing, and years of experience on our ranch, I knew I could bring something better to the table. My goal was simple: to create **mini Goldendoodle puppies** that would not only meet the highest standards of health, training, and genetics, but also offer families the love of a lifetime. This is how we started our journey to raise the best **mini Goldendoodle puppies** for loving homes everywhere.
Busy is an understatement
Do any of you feel like life is just... a lot? Trust me, I get it. My heart—and hands—are full. I’m a mom, entrepreneur, homeschool teacher, and run a ranch. My days start early and end late, and I still try to find time for myself (yes, I still love visiting the soda shop!).
You’re capable of so much, juggling everything for your family, your work, and still holding on to your dreams—like bringing a dog into your life.
When I started this journey, I realized I needed help building my program. But through buying Goldendoodles, I kept hitting the same problems: lack of training, connection, and basic needs. It was exhausting and stressful, so I knew something had to change. I refocused my program to make sure it benefited not just me, but everyone. And that’s what I’m here to share with you.
